Meet The Staff
Dan Redolphy, PGA
:: Director of Golf Operations
Director of Golf Operations
Originally from Binghamton, New York, Dan got his start in the golf business at Dick's Clothing and Sporting Goods, before moving on to Florida. Over the last decade in Naples, Florida, he spent over 6 years at Stonebridge Country Club, one of the premier 18 hole, bundled golf communities in Southwest Florida. He was involved in all facets of the operation, including the Food and Beverage, as well as administrating tournaments, providing instruction and member service. In November 2007, he was named the Head Golf Professional at The Golf Club at Del Webb in the new township of Ave Maria, Florida. This start-up allowed him to put his personal stamp on many key components of the operation. His experience in Food and Beverage allowed him to open The Cafe at Del Webb, a casual spot to enjoy a morning coffee, or post-game libations. Dan's decision to make the transition back to the northeast was an easy one. "Sand Barrens is a first-class operation and this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” A hockey player growing up, Dan has played at the youth, high school and college levels. In 1996 he was invited to play for the Phoenix Desert Rats of the former CIHL. He has also coached at the Junior level, with many of his players going to on to successful junior and college careers. Away from the golf business, Dan enjoys spending time with Lisa, his wife of 5 years and their English Bulldog, Maxwell. He can also be found watching his beloved New York Rangers, New York Football Giants or playing guitar.
