The Royal Oaks Restaurant at Sand Barrens is truly the perfect spot to dine after playing eighteen holes or on your lunch break – a beautiful setting where you can mull over your round or discuss business proposals. For whatever the reason, you'll know while you're here, why we are called the diamond in the rough.
 Whether you choose to dine on our outside porch overlooking the ninth hole of our North course or dine in one of our three dining rooms and take in the breathtaking beauty of our facilities your are guaranteed great service and a great meal from our bistro style lunch menu with such favorites as our panni style pork sandwich, our chicken quesadilla, or our delicious sauteed jumbo lump crab cakes. Our menu accommodates lighter eaters offering a stuffed tomato platter with apple walnut chicken salad, a California Cobb salad, a strawberry spinach salad and a classic grilled chicken Caesar salad. All of our soups are made fresh daily such as our house crab and white asparagus soup, tomato bisque and clams casino soup.
If fine dining, great service and a friendly atmosphere are what you are looking for come visit us for dinner. Our experienced staff will stop at nothing to make your night a memorable one. Our extensive menu includes appetizers such as Sashimi Yaka Nori (medium Rare tuna steak wrapped in seaweed and Panko crumbs), Roasted tomato and Porcini mushroom tart and crab and shrimp cocktail. Some favorites from our Entrees are Coquilles St. Jacques (scallops in a mushroom cream sauce topped with crab imperial and roasted), Veal Cinthia (sauteed milk fed veal cutlet with roasted peppers and jumbo lump crab in a basil cream sauce, topped with fontina cheese) and our New Zealand roasted rack of lamb (with roasted vegetables and drizzled with mint demi-glace).
While here be sure to ask about our all you can eat Prime Rib night and our seafood buffets, Special brunch and dinner menu's for Mothers Day and Easter. A special menu is also offered on Thanksgiving Day and a sweethearts menu for Valentines Day.
Lunch and Dinner takeouts are available. Remember you don't have to be a member to eat like one. Hours of operation change through out the year so please check the calendar under the News Heading.
