The Sand Barrens Golf Academy strives to make the game of golf easy to understand by teaching it in stages.

We have a complete golf facility where you can have your lessons, including a double-ended driving range, putting green and sand bunker.

In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, our staff offers many programs that can fit your schedule and level of experience. One-, two- and three-day schools provide instruction on every aspect of the game: woods, irons, chipping, pitching, putting and sand play. No matter what you’re interested in studying we can help you. We can also help you with your accomodations down at the Jersey Shore, when attending our Golf School.

We offer lots of extras that you will not find anywhere else. Video analysis, a fitness evaluation, course management, psychological strategies, study materials and actual course instruction may come into play depending on your package.

Both private group and private individual lessons are also available. The rates and schedules are listed below.
Our staff is highly skilled. In fact, our Director of Instruction at Sand Barrens, John Lubin, has more than 25 years of experience as a PGA teaching professional. He has won the “PGA Professional of the Year” award and carries the rating of "PGA Master Teaching Professional".

 

* 3 Day Golf School - $575. per person - 5 hours per day - Video Analysis / On Course Instruction

* 2 day Golf School - $450. per person - 5 hours per day - Video Analysis / On Course Instruction

* 1 Day Golf School - $295. per person - 5 hour day - Video Analysis / On Course Instruction

* Private Lessons - 1 Hour - $100.  1/2 Hour - $60.

* Custom Groups - Minimum 3 people @ $40 per hour

* Series Special - 6 Lessons for the price of 5 - 1 Hour Series - $500.  - 1/2 Hour Series - $300.

* On Course Playing Lesson - $175.00 (2 Hours)
